Ethical Trading Policy

Ethical trading is not a new fad for Pier 32 - it has been part of our make up since we started trading.

Pier 32 is aware of customers' growing concerns in the way in which garments we supply are manufactured. It is our objective to ensure that all our suppliers / manufacturers demonstrate high standards of ethical and ecological production. We believe strongly in protecting the legal, ethical & moral right of workers in European & Third World Countries. It is our policy not to knowingly trade with any supplier who use prison / forced or child labour & will not use any suppliers who employ children under the legal employment age.

Printed & Embroidered in the UK, our ‘Starworld’ range of T-Shirts, Ladies T’s, Polo’s, Sweat Shirts and Fleece are manufactured in Africa under an Ethical Trading Policy & sold under the environmental Oeko-Tex 100 standard.

We source organic cotton and bamboo T-Shirts from Continental, who manufacture their clothing in the Aegean and Far East. With traceability of their organic cotton right back down the supply chain and accredited by the Soil Association, their products are of the highest quality. All clothing is manufactured under ethical working conditions and audited by the Fair Wear Foundation.
